FRC OVERVIEW

The First 5 Family Resource Centers are a one-stop shop for families with young children for parenting resources and children activities.  Our goal is to ensure all parents have the tools and resources they need to raise happy and healthy children. 

Due to the geographic isolation in the mountain areas, the FRC on Wheels will bring services to the community by offering activities and events throughout the area.  The FRC on Wheels currently visits the following locations:

  • Oakhurst Library

            49044 Civic Cir, Oakhurst,  CA 93644

  • North Fork Library

          32908 Road 222, North Fork, CA 

FRC ON WHEELS SPECIAL EVENTS

At the FRC, you will find:
• Weekly fun and educational activities for children ages 0-5 years old
• Special family events
• Resource and Referrals to family support resources
• Developmental screenings (ASQ) for children ages 0-5 years old
• Volunteer opportunities for parents, caregivers, and the community to assist with programming and special events

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

The First 5 Madera Family Resource Center is always looking for volunteers to support with programming and special events.  Volunteers will help in our efforts to support families and help ensure children are happy, healthy, and prepared for success in school and in life.
