The First 5 Family Resource Centers are a one-stop shop for families with young children for parenting resources and children activities.  Our goal is to ensure all parents have the tools and resources they need to raise happy and healthy children.

At the FRC, you will find:

  • Weekly fun and educational activities for children ages 0-5 years old
  • Special family events
  • Parent and caregiver seminars
  • Twelve (12) weeks pre-school sessions (Pre-Kindergarten University-PKU)
  • Car seat safety checks
  • Car seat safety training
  • Case management
  • Resource and Referrals to family support resources
  • Developmental screenings (ASQ) for children ages 0-5 years old
  • Free New Parent Kits
  • Employment support services through Madera County Workforce Investments Corporation
  • Volunteer opportunities for parents, caregivers, and the community to assist with programming and special events

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY

The First 5 Madera Family Resource Center is always looking for volunteers to support with programming and special events.  Volunteers will help in our efforts to support families and help ensure children are happy, healthy, and prepared for success in school and in life.

ROOM RESERVATION

Community partners and agencies can request to reserve rooms at the Madera Family Resource Center for meetings and professional trainings.  All reservations are subject to availability.
